Bola Tinubu, homme politique et homme d'affaires nigérian a été élu président du Nigeria. Il est l'un des dirigeants les plus influents du parti politique All Progressives Congress (APC), et a été gouverneur de l'État de Lagos de 1999 à 2007. Tinubu est considéré comme l'un des principaux architectes de la victoire de l'APC aux élections présidentielles nigérianes de 2015. Sa victoire à l'élection présidentielle du Nigeria ne s'est pas faite sans controverse. Les partis d'opposition, le PDP et le Parti travailliste ont demandé l'annulation du scrutin, affirmant que les résultats avaient été largement manipulés. Bola Tinubu wins presidency in disputed election
Bola Tinubu, a Nigerian politician and business leader, was elected President of Nigeria. He is one of the most influential leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) political party, and was governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007. Tinubu is considered one of the main architects of the APC's victory in the 2015 Nigerian presidential elections. He is also a successful businessman. His victory in Nigeria's presidential election was not without controversy. The opposition parties, PDP and Labour, called for the vote to be cancelled, claiming widespread manipulation of the results. The election was a tight race, with Labour Party's Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, drawing in younger voters with his message of change. Meanwhile, PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar, a businessman and former vice president, lost his sixth attempt at the presidency. Although the election was mostly peaceful, long delays at polling stations, intimidation by thugs, and technical glitches with the vote-counting system led to concerns over vote-rigging. Des groupes peuls soutiennent le ticket musulman-musulman
Il est rapporté que quelques groupes peuls au Nigeria ont soutenu Bola Tinubu, le candidat de l'APC et vainqueur de l'élection présidentielle, et son colistier, Kashim Shatima. Auparavant, ces groupes avaient convergé vers Kano pour montrer leur soutien aux candidats de l'APC. Des dirigeants de quelques communautés peules des 36 États du Nigeria ont assisté à la réunion et se sont engagés à soutenir les candidats de l'APC, qu'ils considèrent comme de bons dirigeants qui assurent la justice et l'équité. Fulani groups backs Muslim-Muslim ticket

Le groupe a exhorté les habitants du Nord et de l'Ouest à mettre en garde leurs chefs traditionnels et les politiciens qui utilisent le peuple Igbo et les Biafrais comme boucs émissaires dans le processus électoral. Pour l'instant, aucun acte n'a été constaté suite à la victoire du candidat APC, Bola Tinubu.

IPOB warns of retaliation against attacks on Igbo people during Nigerian elections
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) had issued a warning that it would retaliate against any attack on Nigerians of Igbo origin during the presidential elections. The statement was made before the elections the previous week. It followed an audio recording circulating on social media in which a purported traditional ruler in Lagos threatened not to allow people who voted against his party to work and trade freely. Emma Powerful, IPOB's media and publicity secretary, said any attack on Igbo people or their property would be met with appropriate action. The group urged people in the North and West to warn their traditional rulers and politicians who are using the Igbo people and Biafrans as scapegoats in the electoral process. So far, no action has been recorded following the victory of the APC candidate, Bola Tinubu.

The group alleged that criminals are hiding under the guise of people looking for new currency notes to blackmail them. According to IPOB, its intelligence unit, the M-Branch, uncovered the secret plan, which involves the criminals claiming to be disciples of the group's leader, Nnamdi Kanu. IPOB stated that it is not part of the plan to attack banks and warned Biafrans to resist any attempt to be used to attack or destroy banks. The group also urged people to keep their emotions in check and follow its instructions, as the issues of Biafra freedom go beyond emotions.

Government asks all NGOs out of Zamfara state
The Zamfara government has asked all non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to leave the state. It alleged that NGOs were carrying out illegal activities in the state. According to the State Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, a majority of the non-profit organisations have not registered in accordance with established procedures. He also alleged that some NGOs were contributing to insecurity in the state. He added that any government agency or ministry seen to have a transaction with an NGO would be sanctioned.
