Les affrontements communautaires qui opposent les Teke et les Yaka dans la province de Mai-Ndombe à l’ouest du Congo ont dominé l’actualité congolaise cette semaine. Par ailleurs, plusieurs médias nationaux ont rapporté les temps forts du 42eme Sommet de la SADC (Communauté de développement de l'Afrique australe) tenu à Kinshasa au cours duquel Félix Tshisekedi a condamné une fois de plus l’agression « lâche et barbare » de son pays par le Rwanda.

Dans le territoire de Kwamouth, les affrontements entre les communautés Teke et Yako occasionnent plusieurs morts. À en croire les autorités locales, ces deux communautés se réclament d’exercer le droit du premier occupant. Selon Actualité.CD, le désaccord sur les redevances coutumières à verser par les non originaires (Yaka) aux autorités coutumières originaires (Teke) serait à la base de ce conflit. Ce média affirme que d’autres informations sur place à Mai-Ndombe renseignent que les membres de la communauté Teke s'opposent notamment aux non originaires Yaka pour avoir installé un chef coutumier en remplacement d'un autochtone Teke.

« Notre pays est victime d’une agression lâche et barbare de la part du Rwanda » dit Félix Tshisekedi
Le mercredi 17 août dernier, à l’ouverture du 42eme Sommet de la SADC (Communauté de développement de l'Afrique australe) au Palais du peuple, à Kinshasa où le président Félix Tshisekedi a succédé au président du Malawi, Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, à la tête de cette organisation sous-régionale, le Chef de l’État congolais, a une fois de plus condamné l’agression du Congo par le Rwanda devant une dizaine de chefs d’États d’Afrique australe réunis à l’hémicycle du Palais du peuple à Kinshasa. Il l’a dit en ces termes : « Permettez-moi de remercier notre communauté, la SADC, pour sa solidarité avec le peuple congolais au moment où notre pays est victime d’une agression lâche et barbare de la part de son voisin le Rwanda ».

Procès du film « L’empire du silence » de Thierry Michel
Selon Médiacongo.net, suite au procès en cours à Kinshasa sur l’interdiction de diffusion du film documentaire du réalisateur belge Thierry Michel, plusieurs organisations de défense des droits humains dont la FIDH (Fédération internationale pour les droits humains) et ses trois organisations membres en RDC (la Ligue des Électeurs, le Groupe Lotus et l’Association africaine des Droits de l’Homme) ont apporté tout leur soutien au cinéaste Thierry Michel, réalisateur du film « L’EMPIRE DU SILENCE face à ce qu’elles qualifient d’un « procès bâillon » en RDC. Pour rappel, Thierry Michel et Christine Pireaux (productrice) sont accusés de « plagiat » et de « vol et viol de l’imaginaire congolais » par un cinéaste et un producteur congolais, auteurs en 2015 du film « Congo, le silence des crimes oubliés ».

Suspension des activités de l’Église « Combat Spirituel » au Congo-Brazzaville
Suite au conflit de gestion opposant deux camps de hauts responsables Ministère chrétien du combat spirituel, section Brazzaville, les autorités congolaises d’en face, ont décidé, dans un arrêt publié par la presse, de suspendre sur toute l’étendue du territoire national les activités de l’association cultuelle de l’église congolaise (RDC) dénommée « Ministère chrétien du combat spirituel » jusqu’à nouvel ordre. Selon le Journal Adiac Congo, les autorités congolaises ont pris cette mesure en vue de garantir la paix et l’ordre public à Brazzaville. A Kinshasa, les enfants Olangi, héritiers et responsables de l’église, rassurent qu’une solution sera vite trouvée.
